h22a piston bearing marks?
I was just inspecting the bearing on the pistons and it seems that the bearing that is on the rod has 2 color marks and the cup that belongs to the same rod has a bearing that has 2 color marks facing the other way......does this sound right? i do have the manual .....but i just cant find it anywhere.....so in the meanwhile can somebody answer this thanks

so this is where im having the problems
when i put the connecting rod together (the top half of the number and the bottom half of the same number) the color markings are on different sides.....and then i put the markes together on the than the number on the side of the rod is broken in two......the bearings go only one way.....so something is wrong i just can figure it out yet
the last picture is showing the projectionon both pieces....and thats exactly how its shown in the book but like i said the colors are on opposite sides that way

What do the pistons have to do with your connecting rod bearing problem? Sounds like maybe you connecting rod caps and rods are mixed up (or not all from the same engine). See if you can mix and match rods/caps to how it should be (keep track of them while doing so).
