Was it a known good dizzy?
Typically it's going to be your igniter or coil. With the age of the car it's good preventive maintenance to replace it with a rebuilt dizzy.
If the dizzy works in another car, it must be the ECU, IDK

ya it was a known good dizzy but it was off a d15 out of an eg hatch just used vice grips to hold it in place since the bolt holes r diff but it still should have made spark

So there's power to the dizzy plug, but no spark?
Most likely means the problem is a ground or the dizzy, but you said you changed the entire dizzy, so I don't know.

If you gave power to the distributor from an external (not harness) source, and when you cranked it it still didn't spark, then it's a problem in the dizzy, most likely the igniter if you're not getting any spark at all.

i just tapped into the harness and added power and ground and i tryed it on both dizzys no didnt try cleaning the ground i just checked it made sure it was tight
ne1 else have ne ideas i will clean the ground on the t stat when i get to work on monday and try to round up a p28 auto ecu
BTW if the wires are all hooked up right and powered and the dizzy is good you should be able to get spark spinning the dizzy by hand (not even bolted on) as long as its grounded.
I bought a high perf dizzy once and the guy behind the counter connected some wires and tested it that way (spun it by hand) and there was strong purple fireworks.

UPDATE!! im a dumb *** after being stumped i decided to take apart the dizzy only to find a loose wire to the coil on my "known good dizzy" one of my friends must have decided to take it apart at one time and never informed me of this but on a good not the car is now fixed
time to go drink some
