turbo crx overheating think intercooler is blocking too much of EG radiator.
Ok now I have searched and searched and still now luck. I have a 90 crx full race traction bar and eg 1/2 size radiator. Since I put on my precision 600 hp intercooler it has been overheating while driving down interstate. Im thinking its from the intercooler blocking the radiator. Now is there anyway to use the stock eg radiator and fan and solve this prob without buying a 400$ radiator? I know there are some other EF guys having the same issue with there turbo setups. give me some ideas before I bite the bullet.... Thanks HT
Sorry I forgot to add that it hits hot then fan will cut on! and it will come back down to half way then back up to hot. So fan is working. And this is happening while im driving down interstate! I can see it doing it sitting in traffic but like I said im driving the car.
buy 2 slim fans, run one as a pusher and one that sucks and wire them both to a switch and keep it on at all times when the car is at normal operating temp, run a inline fuse as well.
