I will be doing a wire tuck with a new hole drilled in the firewall. I am trying to figure out what part number this grommet is:

Does anyone know it? I got this picture off of the huge tucked/shaved thread.

Thanks for that helpful insight . That is not my car, but the poster of the pictures did say that the wiring was not complete.

 

 

he said he reused the oem grommet off his harness. its the one that goes through the firewall on 96-00 under the battery. i actually asked the question that got those pictures posted.

Awesome man, so I don't need any other grommets as long as I have the factory harness?

I'd also like to know cause an ek harness has a metal bracket integrated into the harness so it can be bolted to the firewall and thats not it....

 

you dont need to reuse any brackets really....

 

Nope at least I didn't on my eg just reused all the factory ones.

 

The piece pictured is without the bracket. I just looked at my harness and seen that, sad part is my rubber grommet has tears in it .
