Default High pitch squealing

I have a 89 Si. Just had the motor swaped. Sometimes when I drive theres a really loud high pitch squealing sound comming from I think under the hood. If i touch the brake or give it gas it stops. When i slow down to a roll the squeak slows to my speed. It dosent sound like brakes i was thinking something with the axles. It does it off and on sometime it sound good sometime not.

x2.

is the type of squeel you hear in parking lots coming from old cars that are turning slowly?

thats the belt. theres only 2 belts, ac and alternator. probably the alternator.

loosen the bolt, push to stretch and tighten. easy.

Its not the belt because if i go slow like 5km the squeak squeak sound slows down with the car speed. im thinkiing brakes or something with the axles because of the swap.

thats exactly why its a belt...the slower the engine speed, the lower the belt speed which means the belt wouldnt be making the noise as loud

then check your brakes...

are you lowered? rotor shields have been known to rub when extremely lowered. or things are installed incorrectly.

Brakes are good. Now the sound is like a clunking or ticking. ???

Mine was directly proportional to wheel rotation, would sometimes go away while turning, etc.

Front wheel disc protector bent and touching rotor... Go figure. sounded like out of round brake drag. Squeak-a squeaka squeaka.

Make sure they're not too tight or else the lugs may snap and then you'll have serious problems on your hands.
