Default 00 Type-R cams in 99 b16, worth it? And need valve adjustment?

I have a 99 Si b16, with basic bolt-ons. I have 00 ITR cams, and was wondering if they are even worth putting in. I'm not looking for crazy power off them, I just have them sitting here so..why not? Do I NEED a valve adjusment, will my motor be safe with stock valve train at stock rev limit? Please input opinions. Thanks!

Running stock valve train, you don't have that many options. Its going to be stage 1 cams or ITR, which are really similar already. ITR's a good if you want to stick with stock valve train. You'll see a power difference and you will probably need a valve adjustment after the install.

stock valves will work fine, but you will need to adjust your valves.

have any tech friends? get someone to help you if you can, instead of taking it to a shop.. that way you can help and learn how to do it yourself. its really not that hard. as for the specs... do a search, i'm sure you can find them on h-t somewhere.
