Default Offset and sway bar questions

1. I'm buying a set of slipstreams for the R in 15x7 and wanted to know which offset to go with for autox, 40 or 35?

2. Being that my R is a theft recovery with no sway/strut/lower tie bars at all, I wanted to pick up an oem complete set just for the sake of putting the R together stock. But the thing is, I've spent a lot of time tuning my suspension how I want it without the bars (if it helps I'm on Koni/GC's). How drastic will the car change after adding all these bars?

Thanks for any help you guys can give.

sway bars will drastically change and improve your handling. The strut/tie bars will do less but still improve response.

Are you sure the offset was +35 and not +38?

Add both front and rear OEM ITR if you like the actual balance.

As for offset, I originally wanted a 38 but Rota doesn't make them. 35 and 40 are my only options but was worried I would run into rubbing issues with the 35. The R is a tad lower than stock.

And the sway/strut/lower tie bars are all OEM. I have it setup now very neutral but I guess I will need to retune once I slap those on.

dont see why you would want to run spacers with a 40mm when they already make them in a 35mm.....

No I don't want to deal with spacers. I don't daily the R so running a 35 won't bother me.

Because his main concern was the fitting of the +35...if the +35 rub, he's [freak]ed.

I know they probably will fit, but he wanted to be sure of it.

The solution I proposed cannot fail.

Do you understand better now ? I can make a graphic !
