Default Seatbelt help!

I asked this question in another thread but thought this title would draw more attention.

Before "search" gets said, I've searched and searched with no luck at all!

I just picked up a 91 civic hatch, but it has no seatbelts installed. The door panel it has is an SI panel I think, as it doesnt have the slots for the seatbelt to run through.

I got two seatbelts with the car I just cant figure out how to get them installed.

I'm looking for some kind of a diagram to tell me what goes where or some other information to help me along the way as I have to get this done ASAP.

I can't find a possible way to mount the nut behind the bolt for the top point, as theres just a hole and no other way to get behind it to secure the nut.

And for the lower point theres no possible spot to even put the bolt in.

Please help me out!

thats because the seatbelts are suposed to be mounted on the doors. but some one probably switched out the doors to 88-89 ones. search again because i know there is write ups on moving the seatbelts from the doors to the pillars. you got weld a nut in the top. 88-89 has seat belts on the pillars 90-91 has seatbelts on the doors.

I actually did find that write up, but wasn't 100% it applied to me.

So the 90-91's harness and everything actually mounted INSIDE the door? I was thinking the belt just ran through it somehow, I don't understand how it would work, which is why I'm in search of a diagram.

Hope this is what your looking for.

Look at #'s 3/7 as that would be the setup for the 90-91 seat belts.

I found that too, thanks for your help man, I'm trying to see like some actual pics of how I could get it back to stock though.

The digram is kinda hard to read, can't really tell what parts go in the door, ect..

si has nothing to do with seatbelts its the years that are different.

ya all the seatbelt crap mounted inside the door frame it actually had 2 of the roll up things. are your doors 90-91?? or are they 88-89? if they are 90-91 doors you will see extra crap in the door jambs to add strength if theres nothing on the door jamb there probably 88-89.

Yeah, I see the extra stuff in the jamb.. They are 90-91 doors. I see where the top point mounts in the door jamb along side the window, but I'm missing the extension that allows it to be secured.

The belts I have only have one roll up thing, so they're the wrong seatbelts than?

Where could I get the original panel/seatbelt assembly? I have searched around and there are no EF's around that have been junked, are there any reputable websites that sell the entire configuration?

Thanks for your help guys.
