Default Test Pipe on 94' D16z6

I've got a pretty much stock d16z6 with catback and cai would a test pipe, make my car run rich or like crap ? The pipe is for an EM1 99' Si but my friend says it will fit on mine. He took it off cause he said it runs rich on his. He has obd2 i have obd1 so maybe it wont make my car run rich. What do you guys think ?

on an all stock motor it is completely pointless to run a test pipe you will only attractattention from cops and pollute the environment along with sounding like your going fast but really nothing will change

your friend probabaly took it off cause he doesnt have an obd-1 conversion therefore his check engine light came on...you'll be fine it shouldnt run rich.

Hmm, well my megan drift-spec exhaust sounds pretty good, its deep not raspy and sounds different than most other civics, I wonder how the test pipe would affect the sound.

Also why would he need an obd1 conversion on an 99 si, that pipe is for his car. Will that pipe fit my car ?

because obd2 cars use two O2 sensors one of them being in the cat. and will trigger a cel if taken out...yeah it will fit your car

Hmm well, see as it is right now, I miss being able to hear my cai. I can still kinda hear it but not nearly as much as I used to be. If I put the test pipe on will it sound like crap ? and be raspy and annoying ? My exhaust is loud as it is, but its a quality sound not tingy and ricey like most of the civics you hear around.
