I tried to install my cd deck after the faceplate off my old one got stolen. Now i used this site http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/HA-Wiring.pdf for the diagram but for the 12v ignition (the yellow/red stripe) and there is no wire that is yellow/red. Im at a loss. I cant figure it out. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

 

I like to grab the conversion harnesses out of hondas when I'm at the junkyard. That way I can keep my aftermarket radio plug-n-play on any honda, and I don't have to cut off my factory plug! Or you can buy one at Wal-Mart for like 12 dollars... it has the colors right on it for hooking to your aftermarket radio.

 

lol, yeah it might come down to buying one. I really dont want to though. So do you buy one specific to the car and year or specific to the brand of cd player going into the car?

 

u sure you got the right wires ? or the harness for it ?

 

the harness is correct i beleive,

 

that yellow/red could be just yellow or orange. i've seen both. but i would say get the wire harness from walmart or wherever cause then you know its done right.
