205/40-17
Ground Control coilovers
KYB AGX shocks

17's ride like *** IMO... After putting the stock wheels back on and realizing how bad the 17's really did ride, I'm never going with bigger than 15's on a civic again.

Yeah 17's are technically too big for a fifth gen. civic. The ride will be horrible because you would have virtually no side wall on your tires, but if you like the look of 17's by all means put them on because its your ride and in the end you must like what's on your vehicle and I have seen one civic hatch up here with 17's and it was good looking, I didn't expect it to look that good. Personally either 15's or 16's on a civic to be able to maintain a tolerable ride comfort. Good luck on your choice

i put 16s on my crx with 185/50-16 toyo tires and the ride didnt change much but i do understand what your saying.

isnt the tire size for a 5th gen a 195...?
what would be the difference if your running a 205/55-16 and a 205/40-17 in tire size. i mean they are both 205s.
