Default blown headgaskit on EF9

Hey all..

My little brother has a D16A6 with 200,000+ miles (odometer stopped working at 197,xxx).

Anyways, it blows heavy white smoke out of the exhaust after it is on for more then 10 minutes. Its a bit of smoke, but when you drive it, its a HUGE HEAVY cloud. The car DOES over heat after a while too. Im going to double check that the fans are working, but im sure the fans have nothing to do with the white cloud.
The cloud is very dense with water, and its leaking a clear liquid out of the cat near the center of the piping. He revved it when my car was behind him, and when the smoke hit my car, it condensated on my bumper.

Is this for sure a blown hg?? My dad was telling us hell get a compression tester and check that out.
Anything else you guys think I should check before we swap motor?

A good shop is charging $1100 for a D16z8 SWAPPED with ECU. My brother wants to go boost so it should be that bad.

You guys think we should just swap motor?? We bought the car with headers and exhaust

If your getting that much water out of the exhaust you might have a cracked cyclinder. one way to check is pull the rad cap off make sure the rad is full, then start the car, if its starts to blow the water right out you have a cyclinder cracked. also take the oil cap off and see if the is any white milky stuff on the oil cap or in side the head.

blown head gasket will do the same thing. If it blows between the cylinder and the coolant jacket the compression will go right into the coolant system. Compression test will pretty much tell all.. your right too it could be a cracked head..

so I should just be better off just swapping the motors than, so i dont have to deal with the head gasket and the cracked head as well...
