ok i was looking over my engine and notice that i have to plugs not pluged in somewhere one has a blue wire and a black/yellow strip wire with a white connector and the other has a yellow/red strip wire and black wire with both have white conectors on the end in a black housing and i don't know witch one would plug into the cooling fan sensor cause the connector are different just to let you know my car is a 89 hatch with a b18a1 and a crx si wire harness if anybody can help me figure this out.

Pictures would deffinetly help out and you need a factory wiring troubleshooting and a factory service manual from helms.

I would get a manual for both the car service manual 1989 and a manual for the car that the engine came in from helms. You say you have a hatch is that a civic hatchback or a crx hatchback? The harness from the si is it for your car? Honda changed all of the harnesses throughout the years on this body style.
