97 accord ignition coil

Default 97 accord ignition coil

Hi i have a 1997 accord v6 how do you remove the ignition coil? any pics would greatly help as i am simi retarded when it comes to cars thank you

on the V6 is the coil ignition inside the distributer or is there a spark plug that connects to the coil ignition??????????

if its related to the f22b then its on the inside because i did my spark plug wires and theres nothing else on the distributor

the ignition coil is inside the distributor....take the cap dizzy cap off and then you'll have to remove the rotor...once the rotor comes off the cover should come right off and you should see the coil...i believe its just two screws.....and yeah all ignition coils are inside the distributor...

The ignition coil on the 97 Accord V6 is external. There should be a center coil wire attached to your distributor cap. That will lead you to your coil. It should be mounted just to the right of the distributor near the top of the engine. There are 3 bolts that mount it onto the bracket. Be careful when removing the bolts as there are spacers between the coil and the bracket that you don't want to loose. Sorry I don't have any pics right now if I find one i'll post it.

That's kind of a broad and incorrect statement. Not all coils are internal.
