Anyone have tip's on how to lower emissions on my turbo car? Aircare is on the horizon.
I had alot of problems trying to make it pass the idleing and steady low rpm emissions test.. 8 freaking times it took - $200 I was not happy. It's tuned on crome, running 1bar and making 282whp. it's gotta kinda rich tune in it to be safe, it's a built block(not sleeved though) and I need any kind of tips on how to lower the emissions. I always run 94 octane.
The cat is also almost new - a year old.

slam it to the ground.
no seriously.. aircare wont do the driving test if its too low for the dyno. ive passed many vehicles this way. run 13" tires if u have to.
Idle test is pretty easy to pass.

Thats what I already have, it's lowered enough to only do the idle and low steady rpm test. They can't get it on the rollers and I can't get out the exit of the bay because of the massive speed bumps. I have full straight through under the tank 3" turbo back exhaust with a HKS high power muffler, no restriction..What can I do? timing? run 2 cats?, 89 octane in the tank? I seriously need to get this done.
9:1 wont cause any issues. whatever your stock ecu is, injectors, and map sensor works.
it is possible to run what you have though. weve got cars running 1000cc injectors with a cat passing the sniffer test on the first try so i dont see how you should have any issues.
