hey guys i got a 1991 accord, fresh built motor, forged rods/pistons, built head, etc.etc. I can give more specs if needed?
I started the car up and right from the start it idled really bad, like jump from 1200 to 800 then to 1000 then to 600 and then die.
When i took it for a drive to break it in, things got worse. If i floor it WOT sometimes it actually drops in RPM and than kinda accelerates, but really really shitty....its just bogging like crazy. Altho i was able to get a couple 1st gear WOT to 5000 rpm, and it felt great, but as soon as you hit 2nd gear just bogs and sounds like ****.
Any suggestions are really really appreciated!

head is built but stock..?? is your CR of your pistons the same as stock?? if not im pretty sure youd need to retune for that aswell.. correct me if im wrong.

ok car runs a LOT better now
what i did was attach the stock o2 sensor to the stock harness, but kept my wideband in the header, and i also attached the map sensor vacuum plug closer to the throttle body.
This seems to have solved the problem, car runs good, idles still funny, but gettin a pro mechanic to take a look at it tommorow. Will post back with results, doing valve adjustment too, its starting to tick, the car has been running/driven for 40-50 mins without adjustin valves, hope its not too late...
