Default header install?

is the header installation something i could do myself? i did the cai and catback by myself with no problem but the header looks tricky, or does it need to go to the shop for this mod?

thanks

did you need to use a lift? Looks impossible doing it on jackstands.

i have about a foot tall tire ramps that i can put my car up on when i need to have a look underneath her, it works kinda like a mini lift. sure made it easy for the cat back. but the header looks like a job

id say bring it to the shop. much more complicated than both you have done already....

haha.

If you're not sure just bring it to a shop, don't risk it.

why is it that most replys are pointless and negative? i had a simple question yet you find something as small as my sig to bash me on. i listed all the things i have done to MY car, so if you dont have anything relative to say then shut your mouth, ok

yeah bro i did it on jack stands. the hardest thing is finding space to remove the little *** stock header but everything else is easy.

haha yeah welcome to the wonderful world of HT well it would be just as easy as the simple bolt-ons you've already done. it's just bolts like everything else...just with little space. nothing hard about installing bolt-ons

That would be SIVIC3. He's notorious for doing that.

that's just as gay as listing your mods period.

OP,

If you're mechnically inclined then you can complete the install. may take you more time than most but it's pretty straight forward.

I did mine but we had a lift... made it so much easier. We had (well didnt have to but did to make it easier) to drop the subframe just a hair to maneuver the header in/out. Make sure you are careful with the 02 sensors too. Its not too bad but if you are worried...take it to a shop.

I don't know about others or what header your installing. I installed the Comptech header and it was a little tricky to get it in. I used a lift which was a blessing since we had turn the header in some funky angles to get it up.
