I just installed my drivers side axle on my 95 civic coupe and i noticed that were the axle goes into the transmission(i think), there is a slow oil leak coming out. I searched and came up that maybe its the "axle seal". . Does anyone know if it that may be the case, beofore i go and buy/ take everything apart again ?? ......Also I made a mistake and made two small tears in the cv boot, around 2-3 mm long each tear. If anyone knows how i can fix the tears that'll be a lifesaver too.. gota work tomorrow so your help will be greatly appreaciated!!!!

 

Use duct tape on the 3mm tears. Or try to get it warrantied out. The axle seal leak could be fixed by changing the seal. If you get the half shaft warrantied out for the tear then you can kill two birds with one stone.
