Default 2008 Si Sedan on my mind

Alright, well i havent been on here for a while, and since i sold my 2001 Prelude and been driving a WRX lately but have been getting alot of little problems, im thinking of selling it and getting back in to the Honda game. I went to the Dealer ship and they tried to sell me a sedan with Navigation for 25k...i had to check if i was @ the AUDI or MERCEDES BENZ dealer ship because isnt this very high for a Si. I was hoping to get one for around 21k... anyone in south florida get one for cheap.

Also, the Kseries reflash is confusing me> I had a S300 system on my H22 and it was tuned by someone...with the reflash i just plug it in and im go0d...whats the benefits of the Kpro over the reflash then

There is no Kpro for the 06+ Si yet. Hondata has been saying they are working on it, but it is taking forever.

25k is bull, it's clearance time for the 08 models, dont buy anything over msrp. 21-23k with navi would be reasonable and work some more from there.

Negative. They need to take their time and get that **** right to minimize the chance of problems occuring with the product.

thanks for the info...im heading to some dealers tomorrow...imma try to get one with navi for around $22,000 or under...i saw the aJ-racing exhaust...and damn that one is sick...but its alot of money...might have to re-think my route...but im definetly gettin HONDATA...i had it on my prelude and loved it especially the launch control and full throttle shift...dunno if they have that for the k-series reflash...but i can dream...

Other than a vtec mid-range upgrade on the reflash...is it worth the $595???

ok so no luck at the dealer ship...they stiff on the price...lowest they went on the sedan with navi was $23,060

should i wait for the 2009 one? i heard its coming with BlueTo0th and the Orange color i believe from the RSX...any input on that? and what about my exhaust question? Custom 70 mm ?

i have had minor problems with my 2003 WRX.

High pressure hose on the car leaking so i need to replace it since my a/c isnt working right... thats about $250+

Brakes are out and the discs are warped...thats about $400

Burnt up a coil pack on cylinder 3... $200

other than that my car is perfect condition with a bunch of bolt on mods plus a UTEC engine management...(stock turbo)

Gonna try to get around $14,500 for my rex after i fix the above mentioned...and put it all down on a Si...

I wish i went with the COBB Reflash like i did on my dads STi, oh well

But i just miss VTEC, and since im not in the 400+ whp range, no point in being turbo...i want to get back into the HONDA game and stay nice and reliable and simple when things go wrong...alot easier to fix a honda than a WRX...and i owned one before so i just love the all motor feeling...i know i will be alot slower, but i figured with I/H/E and the Hondata reflash or if they come out with the K-Pro it would be a pretty fun drive...but now im not sure if i should wait for the 2009 Si since i heard its getting the Bluetooth on the Navi models...or even wait to see if the 2010 Type R coming to the States...but im sure that would be closer to the $30k range...and i wont be able to spend that...so i cant decided between the coupe or the sedan...and 2008/2009 models...

If i can get 200+ whp on an Si with bolt ons and a Hondata i be happy!

Ok well that sounds like a good choice. Selling the WRX and get a new Civic. Can you post some pictures of the WRX? I love the bug-eye generation the best

Just purchased a 08 Sedan 3 weeks ago in Cali for 22.3K with Navi and Summer tires. Most of the local dealers wouldn't budge past a couple hundred off MSRP. I just got an internet quote which was considerably cheaper than going in and talking to the saleman. FYI, I'm pretty sure the 09's are going to be more expensive than the 08's.

my gf and i payed $22,200 for our 08 ex auto and i thought it was a bit much. I would prefer the Si but my gf wanted a auto.

well from my experience...if you get the Cobb Unit and tune it with a pro tuner so he can use the software to fine tune the STi rather than just a basic map from online...its alot better than dealing with the UTEC... no one here in Miami wants to mess with my UTEC...so thats a big factor for me on wanting to sell it...my dads STi Dyno'd at

300.4 awhp
305.6 awtq

MODS:
Turbos xs Ti turbo back with high flow cat
APS B.O.V.
APS pod-intake
Cobb Accessport pro-tuned by CARLOS from RAMINI-SPORTS

The car flys...

but like i said...i want to get back in the Honda game...anyone have an idea of what the Orange color gonna look like thats supposed to come out on the 2009's???

I think imma wait for the 09 Si's to drop and get me one with navigation...im not having any luck at the dealerships in South Florida...i might have to just end up paying the $23k-$24k

Hey Guys!! It just bought a 08 Si Sedan today for 21,905. I was about MSRP <====I know I got hosed, but I had a 03.5 MSP trade in. It had 100K miles on it And I got close to KBB ($8,000) ($9,300). My car wasn't in the greatest condition so I bit. so OTD I financed $14,800. Not too bad. Awesome car too!!

I'm glad I'm back in the Honda game!

those #'s are on my dads STi...i own a WRX probably around 250-260awhp.

it is a tough decision...but i would be going from a 2003 to a 2008-2009...you dont think an Si with i/h/e/reflash could keep up with a wrx with a stock turbo pushing 250awhp? my car dies after 100mph...

Subaru are short legged monsters...Honda's are long legged...

i would think a 200whp Si would be decent especially with Navigation and the bluetooth...i could smash in and outta gears with no problem and even 2-step...my wrx tranny would fall apart if i did that...

your making me have a tougher decision now

If you're talking "long legged" or over 100, a stock Si will keep up with an STi or Evo 8. I'd imagine with bolt-ons, an Si would walk on them. But you might miss the torque and grip provided by your Subbie. Get the Si though!!!!
