Ok i have a 90 crx si with a d16a6 with a d16z6 vtec head turboed and i been haveing ALOT of over heating problems i put in a new head gasket... that didnt work new thermastat didnt work used a lower temp thermastat that didnt work then got a half rad to get all the heat away from the rad that didnt work put a new water pump in that didnt work eather.. people told me i might have worped my head. you think thats my problem and help honda tech

 

fan coming on in traffic? bleed the air out of the coolant system?

 

i have my fan on a switch so i turn it on as soo as i turn the car on and yeah coolant is bleed

you might have blockage in your radiator. Also if your using a full size radiator being that close to the turbo may heat it more. I know people have trouble with their ac cause its so close to the turbo and manifold

 

i just put in a half rad to keep it away and that didnt work

 

If its a stock half size then thats your problem

You have a stock half radiator on a boosted car. Get 2 core or larger radiator.

 

but i ran the stock one for like 3 mounths and then it started over heating so we stuck a stock half rad in
