well here it goes ive bought 3 different ones by now but the ballast break in weeks/month. does anyone have them installed in their dc2 and if yes which and where have you placed them i could only place them in front of the rad.

i understood it fairly well, and basically your buying cheap hid kits which is why the ballasts break/fry

go with an oem setup like s2000 or tsx and use their projectors while your at it so you have proper cutoff etc etc

 

This is where I put my ballasts, under the front bumper beam. They get wet when it rains, but that's what the plastic covers are for. They have been in that spot for 4 years now without a problem. The ballasts themselves are over 5 1/2 years old.
