Default Vibrant Catalytic Converter good for smog?

I've heard of the Magnaflows working out for smog but they don't last long. I hope the Vibrant cats are of better quality. I've got a full 3" exhaust on the stock H22 - Carb legal headers + intake.

Anyone have experience with these Vibrant Catalytic Converters?

Are they metallic or ceramic?

OEM is the only way to fly for emissions, too much risk in aftermarket units.

I have t he metallic but will be ordering ceramic. Can I just run both to increase my odds? Would it also tone down the exhaust note? I wonder how much power I'd lose. 10" Ultra Quiet resonator will be put on also to tone it down.
