Default beefing up a d15b1?

I made this thread because I would like to know if it is possible to take internals from like for example from a d15b and maybe swaping a diffrent head. I guess making your d15b1 in to a hybrid d-series. I know some might say why not just buy a d15b or a y??? Well I don't have that much money with bills and all so iif possible I may swap parts to beef up my d15b1. So any info would be a lot of help thank you.

I would convert your car from dual point injection to multi point injection(best hp for your money).put the si intake manifold and injectors and stuff on there.....

Yes that's right. I was told to do the switch. And what about the head? Am I able to swap heads? Find one that flows better.???

I tryed, I typed in the search bar, "swaping d15b1 internals or d15b1 with different head ect..." but nothing really came up so I was hoping some fellow members could chime in and give a helping hand.

Thanks for your info so far.

What exactly are you looking to do?

I'd only suggest swapping in a D15B crankshaft if you need beefier rods; but I believe FJT is making some D15Bx rods so that would be pointless.

Searching works better if you don't type so much in the search feild.

for instance, instead of

ZOMG! sersly wanna put better parts in my d15b1 from new motor what parts works kthxbai!!1!

instead try

"head swap" "power gains," or "bolt ons"

my lord, dont they teach this **** in school yet?

I've seen some people running 160 on stock rods, although it is very dagerous it is possible. But, i don't see any point in modifying a D15 that much. Your options are.
MPFI Swap
D16A6 Camshaft
Header, Intake, Exhaust
Mini-me
The best option of course if you are low on money, swap in a D16A6 or ZC. You are going to need MPFI to get anything off it though.

Exactly.

Nateman, you'll want to swap to a a6/z6/y8 (preferably z6 or y8) with a MPFI setup before you bother with a turbo.

Otherwise, the motor is mostly the same as any other D-series save VTEC and MPFI.
