i filled it through the reverse sensor. Thanks all who helped. I tried looking up how much fluid it needs. I came up with about 2.11 qts. Is this right. i havent drove it and probably wont tomorrow. just need to get a confrimation on that amount

The vss is the best shot, just one 10mm. I don't even use the fill hole unless my car is on a lift.

I've found that it's around 2.25 with an L3 trans (rough estimate), so you should be OK.

Sorry about going off topic...
I lost the bolt circled by the tranny mount, is there any significance to that bolt? Will the tranny mess up will oil just come out of it.

Why does no one like using the fill bolt? That's what you're supposed to use to check the fill level!

Mine was stuck also. I used a pipe wrench to get mine loose. Filled it up until it runs out, about 2 quarts.

I learned to always remove (or make sure you can remove) the fill bolt first before draining the fluid, that way you dont end up in this situation.

i didnt end up in a situation because i did exactly that. My thought process was i need to be able to find a way to fill it before i empty it.
