Can somebody please let me know EVERYTHING <U></U> to check when your car sounds like it wants to start but won't.........I can smell fuel....cranking normally......but just wont start....... Really making me mad don't know what else to do...........

Those are the only things?....or the main things?

 

Listen for priming of the fuel pump and check for spark at the plugs. If you have both, check whether the timing belt slipped.

If you don't hear the fuel pump prime, check the main relay and fuel pump.

If you don't have spark, check the coil, igniter, and timing belt (snapped).

In both cases, also check for blown fuses.

check starter is connected tightly

 

yeah the starter is connected tightly......its cranking like it normally does when it started......But it just wont start...but ima try all these things .....just away from home right now
