Default Alternator Fuse keep Popping

I have an 97 civic ex and it keep popping fuse #15. Does that mean i have a bad alternator??

It may be one indication of a bad alternator, but I would check the wiring first to make sure they are all in good shape.

Do you have a volt meter and know how to use it?

alternator is good Wires look kinda dirty so i cleaned it and it still poping fuses

So if the alternator is good and the wires are good, what would be the next step.

If the battery was bad ??? do you have another battery from another car to try ?

Next would be the battery cables ?

Are you also throwing any CEL codes? Check the link below. You may have a common short circuit problem of 6th generation Civics. Check for a damaged wire harness near the bracket on the intake manifold. The wire harness is most easily inspected from below the engine above the oil filter.

Those CEL codes fit precisely with the possibility that the wire harness is damaged and causing short circuits. Identify the damaged wires in the harness and repair with an appropriate electrical tape.
