Re: alternator not charging the battery (E_F_9)
Just so you know, it's really not a good idea to post your phone # on a public forum.
Wish I could help, but all I would say is "look into replacing your alternator."
Bump for a real answer

Re: alternator not charging the battery (BlackoutVTi)
It's just a fuse under your dash. It will be a red one, the fuse that is on the alternator. Yes, a $.10 fix.

if its not charging the battery then there's a good chance ur gonna have to replace your alternator. check the fuse first tho. if its blown, replace it. then check if it charges the battery. if not then the alternator's bad.

Re: alternator not charging the battery (crazyguy)
Don't laugh but here it goes...
Check the case of the alt. to the neg battery for continuity.
The ground or negative for the Alt. is the mount and sometimes the rust build-up interupts the connection.

Which fuse would that be? I'm pretty sure there are more than 1 red fuse down there?
Edit:
Found it. #12, 15A fuse

Re: alternator not charging the battery (blaze_125)
if its not the fuse, then check the two wires connecting to the alternator. if they're connected, then most likely its the alternator. that happened to me a while back. i'd jump the car, then 5 minutes later my lights turns dim until the car runs out of power and shuts off. i had to buy a new alternator.
