Very confused!!!
Ok fellas Ive searched and have found and read alot about the wiring For the o2 sensors for the obd0 b16! My problem is that ive wired it up perfect! And checked it and then chected it again and im still getting a cel for primary o2! I have followed the directions to a T and still a cel. So WTF! am i doing wrong i have two new o2s the universal kind (wich people on here have said that will be just fine). None of my wiring is snaged on any thing and i used a multi meter to make sure its not grounding out any where!
My setup is a stock pr3 with a b16a i have a aftermarket header but had the o2 bungs welded in just like they are on the stock mani. Everything else is stock
The way i have it wired up is the primary o2 is in c16 and the secondary is in c8. I hope i dond get flamed on this issue but im dried up with ideas and dont know what else to do!

check the connections again and maybe try a known good ecu...if that's not it, you may have a problem in one of the 2 primary cylinders. is it too rich? maybe you have a leaky injector or compression is starting to go
I have already tried a second ecu still a cel. As soon as i start my car it comes on thats how it always is it never takes awhile its always right away I was told by a couple of people that if it comes on right away its somthing eletrical. Ive checked all the wiring in the car everything seems to be ok.
Ive reset the ecu but iwill try again. and i have an extra set of injectors i will try too!
Thanks for the help!
might want to try an ohm check on the wire from the o2 sensor to the ecu. if you have continuity the wire is good. might have a bad driver in the ecu. might be a defective o2 sensor also.or as said above you might have a bad component in the engine.anybody have an old sniffer in your area, might work. or take it back to basics start from scratch check everything out.ie plugs, coil, injector pulse.
I was cheking things and and found a pretty significant crack on one of my injecters im going to replace them tomarrow but i was woundering if that could be my problem? Im really just fried with thinking about it!!

Where is the crack on your injector? Just on the protective boot? If so that should be fine...
I am kinda in the same boat as you..but my code comes on after driving the car for awhile. I just ordered a new one..hoping it fix's it

Is it just the protector or the actual injector????

Im going to put in a different set of injectors in the next couple of days ill let you guys know if it works out. I hope this works im about out of ideas!
Ok! so i put the extra set of injectors in and it didnt do anything! Still CEL this is getting to be a little shitty! The injectors i pulled out looked to be ok except one of them had a good sized crack on the out side plastic protector i was hopeing that was goint to be my problem! But no it was not! Does anybody else have any ideas im open to anything!!
it could be the ecu. if i remember , my b16a OBD0 was doing the same. i wired it all up. somehow i thought about swapping to a different ecu. works. first i used a Pr3. then went to Pw0 and it worked. id lend u mine if u were closer. but i wouldnt sell becuase i dont remember if the one i got works or not lol
