b16 obd1 swap. need to install resistor pack for DSM injectors. HELP
Installing some DSM 450cc injectors for b16 thats in the crx.
The b16 is OBD1. So I had a custom wiring harness made and used a jumper harness for the ECU.
What I want to know is how can I install a resistor pack for the DSM injectors.
I was wondering if I can do something like this.
Cut where all the 4 wires that goes into the injectors, solder it up together and wire it to that one single one which I believe is a yellow/black wire.
Then solder the other ends on the injectors to the red wires on the resistor pack.
I drew a picture to show what I am talking about. Will it work like this?

here's a good write up, sorry, hope i don't get in trouble for linking to other site,

Are you running an OBD1 computer? If so, you are going to need to leave it stock (as far as injector wiring) Just follow a DPFI to MPFI guide and you should be on your way.

YES.
you don't have to solder all together those 4 YLW/BLK wires which you just cut/spliced off from each injector. just take one of them(insulate the rest) since they all come from one source(it's the same wire that goes to ECU pin A25, B1, Main Relay, O2, IACV) then do the injectors to the resistor pack rerouting... just like what you've drawn. .

depends on what type of injectors you intend to use. Low impedance ones require a resistor box. high impedance = no resistor box req'd.
dc2doi, are your DSM injectors low impedance ones ( 2-5ohms)?

I just bought some LOW IMPEDANCE 450cc injectors and im doing the OBD0 to OBD1 conversion. do i use the resistor box that is already in there?
