Hey everyone,

I'm trying to set up my tps on a D16y7, the only problem is that my TB is off of another model engine possibly a y8. If I turn the TPS all the way back to minimum voltage it reads somewhere between .5 and .7 and at WOT it reads 4 even. I understand the range is supposed to be .5 closed and 4.5 WOT but if turn it up so that it gets 4.5 at WOT it makes the closed voltage jump to 1.0 volts.

Should I lower it to 4.0 instead of 4.5 at WOT ? Will the injectors put less fuel into the mixture because of the lower voltage at WOT?

 

i think all the TPS sensors are the same. i just bought a blox one and it was for a honda/acuras but its the blox so im unsure.
