will the a6 ecu work with the b1 or b2.
is there an advantage wit hthe longblock or shortblock.
the honda scene is kinda crappy here there are a few riced out ones(alot) and a few real nice ones, sir crx's.
not many are boosted yet either ill be one of the few.

it is a nice city though muscle cars still rule these streets even though there are a good number of tuners here, and nice place to live also. it just makes it that much more fun beating some cocky guy with your rice rocket

Not sure if it's different in Canada but in the US, we don't have a D16B1/2 but we do have a D15B1/2.

Let's see if I remember correctly...
B1 is the 4 spd STD model (CX in Canada?)
B2 is the DX

I've heard (couldn't confirm) that the STD model has a slightly weaker camshaft and has a different ECU from the DX which results in the weaker power level.

I've also heard (and again couldn't confirm) that the heads are the same regardless of trim level.

You could swap any of the above engines in to replace your old A6. Simplest thing is to swap and reuse your old manifolds and ECU (literally straight swap). Also, it'd be worth it to swap in your camshaft from your A6.

alright well i cracked my valve cover off today and it looks like a broke a rocker arm and the rest seemed to follow
i will just get better cams then rather than replacing them
it is a b2, or the civic i am taking it from is a b2.
yeah i was hoping not to swap all the ecu and all that out, big pita
