Blocked FIT Valve ( bad? )

is it bad to block off the fast idle thermal valve?????

It will promote a low, rough cold idle. But other than that, no.

thanks! i blocked it because its idling up and down the rpm's then hit 3000k rpm, so i figured i'd just block it off
