I broke the drain plug on my Godspeed radiator. I don't even know how. Its like I drilled a hole thru it. Can I just use a bolt and plug it? Or does the hole on the plug do something for the performance of the radiator?

 

Does not effect the "performance" of the raditor. In a pinch you can plug it with the correct size bolt. Good luck BTW.

Extract the shank if it broke off flush, and buy an expanding rubber plug. Those things are handy when you get oil changes that come from Jiffy Lube.

 

I can still take it out, it didnt break off the head, it like, broke a hole in the end of the bolt.
