Mishimoto Radiator drain plug???
I didn't know where to put this so mods move please if necessary.
Anyone know what size/thread pitch/length the radiator drain bolt should be? Comes with the plastic one and rubber o-ring and after only a couple months, it's leaking like crazy and I don't want to replace it with another little rubber o-ring....rather a nice actual bolt and washer combo.
Thanks in advance for any input!!!

take the plug to the hardware store, they have those templates for all the different thread pitches. its most likely m10 or m12 with a 1.25 pitch. might be 1mm pitch though too. my ebay rad had m10 x 1mm, it was kinda hard to find that size locally.
^^^ do that....and then YOU will know for sure.
hey to the OP, did chu find out what size for the drain plug...and is yur radiator for a 96-98 civic?? and to anyone that used a bolt, have u had any problems with it rusting or getting stuck inside the threads??

^^ Hey Cilvia.. I had the same problem a while ago with my drain plug. I e-mailed Mishimoto (assuming that's where you got yours from) and they sent me a new one under the lifetime warranty. Shoot them an E-mail if you have any problems.
thank you...yea i shot them an email and i will see if they send me a new one...and if they dont, does anyone still know the size, or which drain plug will work with this mishimoto radiator?? its leaking slowly but do have to fill it up every 3 days...
while you have the system empty i would highly recommend replacing it with a brass npt plug. This eliminates the o-ring and plastic plug altogether as i have had issues with them consitently.
