Need help with leaking radiator drain plug
Hey guys i have a ej1 with a d16z6 in it. I replaced the radiator about 6 months ago and decided on a CXracing aluminum radiator. It came with a plastic drain plug in it and i recently noticed that the radiator is leaking from the drain plug. I figure no big deal and just tightened the plug, however it is still leaking a little. not a whole bunch but enough that when i get to work i can notice a little pool below the drain. I'm guessing its a small crack in the plug or something simple. My question is does anyone know the thread pitch of the radiator so i can get a new plug? Don't feel like taking the radiator out completely just to find out the local part store don't have the one i need.

The drain plug you're talking about is called a petcock. Like Wrona said, it should have a small rubber o-ring on it. If it doesn't, you can get one and fix the problem easily.
