did it start puffin blue and sounding like marbles all of a sudden? if so i'd pull the oil pan and look for metal before running it again

update!
ok i cheked the oil i was quarts shy.

when i reved the car today the smoke was mor black then anything.
onlyu comes out on upper revs, over 5500 in neutral(no load)

also the noise i beleive is coming from my alternator.
when i pressed against the alternator the noise got really quiet.
and the motor was quiet.
once i let it go the noise came back.is the a tensionor for the alternator?

the belt tension is adjusted by the alternator pivoting. there are two bolts on the belt side of the alternator, and one on the front of the alternator that actually does the adjusting.
