Bondo on a valve cover !?
will bondo hold up to the heat? a kid in my area gave me a free bseries valve cover but he shaved off the honda logo and "honda motoring co" off using a grinder without sandpaper (just bare wheel
) so it looks all chopped up. i tried sanding it out but no luck. i searched and someone said use quick steel. is it sandable??

metal to metal is not made for high heat.. if you want you can bring it to a welding shop and have them weld a bead in it, then grind it and block it out smooth....or you can use something like quicksteel or jb weld and paint over it...
