Knock Knock
Well I recently put in a B18B with only 34000 miles on it and everything has been running great! UNTIL a couple days ago... I was driving to the movies with my wife and I noticed a very quite knocking sound when I give gas!? From right then I knew something was wrong....
Now it is getting progressively LOUDER! and it is def. coming from the block/head... (this sux...)
Any ideas?
Oil is good and no leaks...

One good idea would be to stop driving it before you do serious damage to the block or head and have to replace the entire motor....
New piston/rod = $100 - $500
New Motor = $600 - $900
Keep driving the car to hear how loud it can get = Priceless

Doesn't really make a difference, the motor's already shot from the sound of things - might as well just drive it into the ground while shopping for another motor...or rip it out and see what's damaged and if anything south of the head gasket is salvageable.
