ok, my buddy with a 95ex recently blew up his 5 speed trans and needs another one asap, so we found one on ebay for $400 that is a JDM 5 speed from a D15 vtec. It says it will fit 92-00 civic D16, but I just want to make sure before we go ahead and buy it. Here is the link to the ebay listing:

Yes, it will work fine, all D-series '92 - '00 transmissions are interchangeable.

 

yes it will work... i bet you could find a better deal on one tho...b/c a d15b vtec trans is the same as a d16z6 trans

yes the d15bvtec motor and the d16z6 have the same gearing.
