Default smog help!

I have a d15b in my Vx hatch.

-stock p28 ecu
-97 ex injectors ( which I know is the incorrect injectors to use, but that was my last resort)
-tried wiring my 5 wire o2 to a 4 wire, but failed. So im throwing a check engine

So my question is will I still pass smog with my stock p28 knowing that it run's a bit rich and having the wrong injectors?

I know I still have to fix my 02.

I think you still will, just get a 4 wire o2, or get a po7. retard your timing some too, that should help.

so what you are saying is change out my p28 to my old p07 & run a 5 wire 02. Because P07 are 5 wire o2

yeah, either run the 5 wire and put a po7 in, or get a single vtec harness and run a 4 wire o2 with the p28. and retard your timing some. From what I've read it helps you pass emissions. but dont retard it all the way, because you will have near 0 power to the wheels. I did it before and i couldn't even get up a hill.
