Default Overheating Problems Resolved

well peeps after seeing many threads about overheating i thought i would elaborate on my experience. Well about 6 months ago i hit a deer, and cracked my rad which i didnt find out until iwas going to work and car overheated.....i checked fluid level and it was crazy low. I refilled founf the hairline crack along the top of the rad...well i replaced rad problem fixed.....wel ever since it took forever for car to warm up(thermostat stuck open)....soo at the time i didnt worry about it. well then i was at the beach about 1 month ago car got hot while sitting at a redlight...pulled over check fan wasnt running..i jumped wires and the fan came on so i just jumped the switch and ran a toggle until i could get back home and fix the problem...well i replaced fan switch and thermostat with advance ones(honda didnt have switch in stock) flushed coolant car ran great until about 3 weeks ago....driving about 30 mph car stared getting hot...well i could figure out what the problem was i replaced pretty much all the problem pieces but it was pretty random when it would try to overheat..well car got pretty hot one day i pulled over found out the bottom hose was not that hot...and i was like well thermosat is junk..the brand new thermostat so on my way to work to replace thermostat with oem honda one my car got real hot again..i changed thermostat and switch flushed again...car was fine for about 200 miles pulled over rad was half full...so i thought maybe rad burped blew coolant out...refiled ok for 100 miles rad half full...so now im like what the hell....al air was out of the system i vaccum fill the system it eliminates all chances of air...well sma thing after long trip....so im so pissed...well i check for blown head gasket..i have no milky oil...no leaks compression check is within specs....but now i notice my resovior bubbling but still no collant in my oil or vice versa....

then i used our emissions machine got the tailpipe sniffer out and released the pressure off of rad with sniffer by the rad cap...well the h/c content of that steam was 1500 ppm........i deff have a bad headgasket

i replaced gasket water pump time belt while i was there and the headgasket was leaking into number 1 cyl....now i have put maybe 2000 miles on my car no problems at al coolant perfect

so if anyone thinks maybe headgasket leaking that is a pretty easy way to figure it out..for sure took maybe 3 mins to know exactly what my problem was

so originally my problem was bad switch then bad thermostat replaced with junk advance auto thermostat which cost me my headgasket

hope this will help those who have the same prblems
