Hi all new to Hondatech.com. Wanted to start off by asking you guys if anyone knows a good shift **** for a 2007 civic si. My car sits out in the sun and the **** gets really hot. Thanks for any input

 

jus ttake your **** off so it doesnt sit in the son because thats not the only reason why it gets hot its cus tghe shifter itself gets hot from outside heat.

 

Put a sock over the **** while you park it.

Or you can use reservoir covers. Better use imo.

ya i do the same. just cover it.. i took a leather hacky sack sorta thing and gutted it cause my car roasts in the parkin lot everyday

 

I use a Crown Royal bag here

 

Shift ***** are a personal preference, so you may get many different answers. As far as the sun, I ususally put hat on top of the **** it I know I'm not gonna wear it.

I like the feel of the Mugen shift ****. If not that, then the 07+ CTR **** or the S2000 CR ****. They are very similar in shape.
