what size rims are the best to use for drag racing, for a prelude 97??

16" or 15" if you can, big wheels are for handling via thin sidewalls.

yeah man, i'm new to this sh*t, so 15" is a good rim, i now have 17", they are nice, but they are holding me back. and one of the is a little damaged, which brand should i buy

lenso, weld.....any 15" wheel that is light and durable and has the dimensions to use whatever tire you are going to use.

I use 225/50/15 DRs for Drag Racing and 225/50/15 R Comps for Roadracing....
I like 15s b/c they are cheap and give me the gearing I want....

tires are what gives you the gearing wheels in 15 inch tend to be lighter. but theres also the use of 16 can get light wieght and low profiles tires that do wieght less do to less material used.
