I am currently running a MSD digital 6 box but I am switching to a MSD billet setup with module. There is really no need for the box other then the 2 step which I do still need to retain but I don't want to have a $400 2 step if you know what I mean. What other alternatives would I have to retain a 2 step with just the MSD billet dizzy and module so I can get rid of the new digital 6 I have? Thanks guys.
we use both in lisa car and it is perfect just keep an eye on the rotor and cap! the digital 6 has more functions than just the 2 step! try you will be impressed the wiring is actually real easy pm me if you need any help!

Yea I heard about the rotor screws coming out with some of the allen heads. Needless to say all of the screws will be getting some locktite before it goes into the car. I forgot to mention I am also running a FAST system and I am having some AEM type of misfiring problems with the stock dizzys. Hopefully this will clean up the signal to the FAST and will fix this dreadful miss I can not seem to beat.
if your using fast just use the msd dizzy and a hvc coil with the digital6 and dont use the ignitior,im doing that with my aem right now and no issues.works as if i had a t1 cam trigger.

The FAST will not read a straight hall effect style signal it has to be inductive from what I understand. I was told the module is what actually converts the signal from hall effect to a inductive style so a stock computer or the FAST will understand it. Please correct me if I am wrong because I won't run the MSD module if I don't have to.

The only reason I went this route with the MSD billet is because Tony1 told me his cam trigger would not work with the FAST setup or I would already of ordered it to fix my signal issues. With the MSD converting the signals this seemed to be my only other alternative.

Yea the old one and it is as basic as it gets on features. I mean overall it is a great system, easy to use, doesn't give me any other issues other then hating stock Honda distributors and not being very versatile with options. Jason Hunt's car went mid 9's with it though and I believe Brian Ballard was running the same thing back in the day. There are just so many more options now but I would hate to completely switch systems mid season. I have had this system for 3 years and just finally finished my build this year so I have set on it for some time. After talking to Tony1 I may be going Motec this winter when the car goes back down with one of his cam trigger setups, definately nice stuff!
