There is no difference, they're both for lamers

Greddy is cheaper and makes more power though. (Although if you look at Greddy's BOV page I think they would say it's "cheeper".)

I hope this doesn't spark an SC vs. TURBO debate for the millionth time!

TURBO=

SC=

you do the math. but that is jes my opinion. i dont like the fact that you have to take power to make it. thus in the long run making less power at same psi of boost. why put so much stress on your engine to make less power? go turbo. the only good thing i think about sc's is the low end torque. but turbos will win in the top end. so i guess it evens out. imo go tubo. but do what ya want.

Just get a big *** turbo.. screw emissions and greedy and go for the power.. Greddy is decent for smog legal freeks.. but ifyou want power, go for a larger turbo....

Do a search on "greddy turbo kit" and "jackson racing supercharger" and answer your own questions....

1. Do you want to be REAL fast... then then go faster? (You want turbo)
2. Do you want a teg that just drives like a stock gsr? (get the Jackson supercharger)
3. DO NOT GET THE VORTECH SUPERCHARGER, its useless on our cars, it has LAG and only power at 8000rpms.... waste of money
4. INFORM YOURSELF BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS... this boards archives have just about every little question like the one you asked in it, so just try sifting through them before you get the urge to post.

I don't know why I'm wasting my time but:

Turbo kit= lots of wasted parts, but good increase in power and can be upgraded easily later. Some are street legal

Custom turbo=more research and install time and knowledge, but it will crush the "kit" and for a cheaper price.

Jackson supercharger=good low end power, but is limited to about 10-11psi, do this if that's all you're going to do to your car

Vortech=good top end power, but is limited by the pulley size you can install and it doesn't suck!

What I like best=custom turbo setup

What I have=Revhard kit

What I did=waste money on a "kit" when I could have had a lot more at a much cheaper price, live and learn.
