ok when my car is idleing it bubbles, like out the exhaust it sounds like bubbling..., anyone have any idea what it could be??

Either your dont have a cat......you have a bad exhaust leak......or...no thats about it.....

My car did this when i had a whole bewtween my cat and my header pipe (Y pipe) well then I ran open header and it did it like crazy...

Then I got a brand new header, hi-flow cat, and cat back exhaust....absolutley NO BUBBLES, backfire, popping nothing its better then stock.

 

i got a cat...could it be a bad cat? i dont think i got a hole in my exhaust unless its from the header to the cat cuz my cat back to my muffler was custom made like 4 half a year ago

 

NONONONO this is normal. its bubbling b/c it IS bubling. its built up standing condensation. its heated up and spit out the exhaust. mine will usually shoot out about 3-4ft when i turn the car on and let it warm up. this is normal

 

Does it do it ALL the time...like i can drive for a our to school and let it idle and it still bubbles...anyway to make it not bubble?

 

hmm you may have a poped head gasket and its dumping coolant into exhaust should only bubble on start up

im gessing this wouldnt be cheap to fix either..huh...
and devin...my exhaust if u listen to it, it sounds like its bubbling or popping...just sounds like bubbling no bubbles out the exhaust

if you're talking about the sound it makes, it's normal and all cars sound like that at idle.

 

Hmm what if mine bubbles like crazy when I keep it at 3k RPM?

First off, you stole MY AVATAR. secondly, this whole bubbling car thing could be a hit with the kids. as a matter of fact, if you do find what is causing these bubbles to emit from your exhaust. do tell, we might see it hanging next to the light up exhaust tips and headrest springs in autozone someday.

Maybe where you get your gas, they took the term "detergents in the fuel" literally.

Ok if you accually READ the post u would notice that bubbles dont accually come out it just sounds like its bubbling...
