Default 205 50 14 tires on my 185 60 14 stock wheel

i searched a little for this before asking but couldnt find an answer. will that tire fit my stock rim? i'm only going to be using it for summer. i plan on getting the bfg g force street drag radials. i know that the speedo will probably be off and what not but i'm not sure if they're to wide. has anybody put those on their stock rim? if not what tires would offer the best traction for the stock size rim? i'm putting my turbo kit on my b16 this weekend if the rest of my stuff shows up this week and need traction. i have the falken ziex 512's right now and they suck for traction. im getting winter tires in the winter so they dont need to be all season or anything. just strictly summer tires. the car is a 95 civic if that helps

Not sure about your fitment question, but recalibrating the speedo is easey, just borrow a gPS and pop the needle off the speedo to set it to the right speed again, I did mine, took me 30 minutes and a phillips screwdriver. Use two flat bladed drivers to pop off the needle straight up.

That would only be correct at one speed. Not all the way through the range. If it say 8mph out at 60 its only actually out 4mph at 30 but according to what you did it would read its still out by 4mph at 30.

from my experience the needles dont come off hondas.... they snap off and are trash!

but anyways if its on stock suspension then it might be ok but might rub when turning in the front....

with those tires your speedo will say 60mph and youll be doing 61.8mph not off to much but is alittle wider....
