Okay , so im upgrading from my stock tires on my civic .
They are 185/65/14

I am going to r15 . what should my tires be ?

i was thinking 195/55/15

is that right?
Also if my wheel is 15x8.5
will i have any issues when i put them on?

205/50R15 is what you want. What's more, if you want a quality all season tire that is absolutely amazing in the wet or dry, and can handle up to 200 WHP without breaking a sweat, you want Hankook Ventus V2 Concept 2's. I can personally attest to all of the above.

Also, thank you for putting in a little bit of effort before creating a thread.

I realize this is more opinion than tech, but how is the road noise on those?

Wow; praise!

jp..

I thought 8.5 is a little wide unless you have some high offset. Is this a stance car?

I'd run no less than 205s, I run 225s now (albeit on 16x7s) (ek coupe)

I didn't realize they were 8.5 till i got them .

But they are 15x8.5 with 17+ offset
So i should run 205's?

Over the other sounds my car makes, I don't hear the tires. That's not to say they're quiet - I realistically don't know. The 2.5" exhaust went on before the wheel/tire setup did.
