Default Will i need larger pistons when i hone my block because of a spun bearing?

Do i even have to hone the block after i remove the piston?
If i do have to hone the block will i have to use bigger pistons or can i use stock ones?

The motor is a stock B18C1

if your just honing the block you'll be fine using the stock size pistons

You will need to go overbore if the cylinders are out of round beyond spec.

if youve spun a bearing i would rebore 0.5 and go with a 81.5 piston

My take... if the sleeves are perfectly fine, rebuild the spun bearing (replace the rod that is spun and the crank. Replastigauge everything with the new crank u will be using, reclock the piston rings and reinstall everything back in your old block. If you spun a main bearing then thats a different story.. id look for a new block if that was the case

no just a rod bearing was spun the mains are great. I just didnt know if a hone was necessary or not. Having to hone up a size then get new pistons and rods gets costly
