Boring D-Series question
Spun a bearing in a block i had bored to 20 over and i have to either A) get a new block and re-bore to 20 over or B) bore original engine 40 over to fit new pistons in
Which whould i do?

If its unsleeved, get a new block and bore it 20 over. Cylinder walls are thin enough in those motors to keep boring it over size. Plus they are a dime a dozen so youd be better off with a new block.

New block it is luckily i have an extra block sitting in my basement, i just need to find a new crank.

If you only spun a bearing, why do you need to replace the pistons? All you have to do is replace the crank and/or rod and new bearings.

Because the block did not seize up and metal shavings dug into my Vitara (Cast) pistons which scared the hell out of my clyinder walls. i have to replace the entire bottom end.
